Hi Kathy, A Daddy's Day; that's something new, it brings an air of warmth & closeness as a difference to Father's day. As a father of four and a grand-papa of six, I thank you for sharing these warm thoughts. Louis (le travelling fisherman) http://www.sunfun4u.globaltravel.com

Hi Kathy, Sorry to hear you grew up without your Dad. But I have to say that is a big pair of shoes to fill. I have a 36 year old daughter who thinks she is my boss, as with her mother! Sometime I have to let them know I wear the pants. On Fathers Day I tell them this is my day to boss, they can have the other 364 days, but this is my day. Love that Thought! Regards-JP

It's a good thing that Daddys Sense of humour will last As his baby's become Things of the past. So lovely for Daddy when they are small, Them knowing he's so big and tall. Rushing to him as he reaches the door, To have him lift them from the floor. Later he'll see he's taught them well, As they explain the truth only they can tell. By 16 they'll know all that can be And no longer need their Daddy's knee. So enjoy being Daddy while you can. For soon they'll send you on the lamb. Remember those worshippers will one day Remind you... you have feet of clay! Keep laughing, God has a sense of Humour too!
