Hello! Kathy and all, dads in particular. Thanks for this beautiful forum...Tribute to Daddy, I can only say that it is good to be here and see how my daughter looks up on her dad, how she appreciates his encouragements. She is in love with him(!)adores him, everything what he says is or suggests is done right away and she is proud of it.Now, I see lots of similar situations to ones when I was growing up and looked up on my dad who would be introducing me to classical and jazz music or certain literature, newer forget that! He is long gone, but memories left, like going to movie theater with him...first time in my life, remember even that was "Home bound" movie( love it!)remember me crying in the dark and him wipeing my tears... Nowadays, my daughter listens to the same kind of music as her Dad does, and exchanges books-with him, taking recomendations. It's nice feeling watching them doing that. This year, on Father's day Kathy, the daughter, gave her dad a card which was saying..."Dad you never pushed me too hard, but enough to get me going", we all celebrated with tears in eyes. Happy, happy family! Take care! Ania

Very nice Kathy, but it made me cry. Not bad tears though, reflecting tears. I miss the days when I was Daddy's little sunshine. He's gone now and we weren't close in the end because I didn't know how to make an elderly person feel needed. I've learned that lesson well now.
