My next thread is a somewhat controversial one, however, before I do it, I have a special request. I'm not going to reveal it yet, as I have to put it together. In the mean time I'd like to throw out a question, and I'd like you to give me your personal opinion of what it means.

  Christian means to be as Christ lived

"me" no longer exists, it is the other person that should concern us. Giving all "we" are to another without thought to ourselves.

 Not an easy task, a lifetime of learning.

What a wonderful question.  Val has covered it quite well, but I will reiterate.

Being a Christian is to live as Christ Himself lived, and to walk the walk that he laid out for us in his word. 

When He says, "Love one another", he doesn't mean that we get to pick and choose.  He means that we love every one as He does.  And, we must love one another as we would like them to love us.  Like Val said the "me" is not longer in existence.  We live our life to spread His word, and bring others to him. 

Christianity is the beatitudes!!  Living them, breathing them and doing all we can to bring others to know Him.
