Hello Anamaria and Jenny,
I have been playing with this for a couple of hours. I can only get the slide show up if I go to a post that was done in "what you see is what you get mode".  Then when I pull it up again I can switch to "simple editing mode" and add the html and it works.
You can only edit your existing post in your own forums. I have only been able to add a slide show to existing post in my forum. I have not been able to add it here. I was not able to add it to my own post unless they were started in the "What you see is what you get mode".
Getting the slide show ready at Slide.com was easy.  Finding the html code on thier site was easy.
But I ran into snags here.
Anamaria how did it go with you? Am I missing something?

Hello Rose and Jenny :-)

Looks you were learning something here!

First Jenny! In order to make your slide show you have to go to slide.com for exemple and make there your slide show by uploading your pics to their "redy made" tool (or I don't know how to call it, but I hope you understand though what I mean! ) Than there you have the code (html) for your slide show just made! You can take that one and copy and paste it into your post in HTML mode (on the down bar of your WYSWYG editor there are two buttons - Design and HTML!)

It is true that one may come back to edit only posts on your forums; on others there are no edit buttons!

Let's see if this helps!
I'm home now for about half an hour and hope I can help.

Hi Jenny :-)

Now, let's see what I managed to do here!

I've made a slide show with your pics on http://www.slide.com
After uploading the pics from my own computer and saving the show, I've got there something in "chinese" as you say, because it's chinese for me too LOL, to copy and than to paste it here. The code looks something like:

<div><embed src="http://widget-9f.slide.com/widgets/slideticker.swf" quality="high" scale="noscale" salign="l" wmode="transparent" flashvars="site=widget-9f.slide.com.com&channel=72057594039839135&cy=ms&il=1" width="700" height="220" name="flashticker" align="middle"/></div><div style="width:700;text-align:left"><a style="vertical-align:middle" href="http://www.slide.com/msnew?cid=72057594039839135&cy=ms&tt=0" target="_blank"><img src="http://widget-9f.slide.com/h2/72057594039839135/ms_t000_v000_a000_f00/images/slide3.gif" border="0"/></a> <a href="http://www.slide.com/msnew?cid=72057594039839135&cy=ms&tt=0" target="_blank">Get Your Own!</a> | <a href="http://www.slide.com/msview?cid=72057594039839135&cy=ms&tt=0" target="_blank">View Slideshow</a></div>

Don't try to read it because it has no use, only if you want to learn this LOL
Now I swich to HTML edit mode on the bottom of the WYSIWYG editor (just scroll down!)
Get Your Own! | View Slideshow

I paste the code there and than I swich back to Design edit mode.

Now let's see what I did! LOL
Anamaria

WAW!! Hurray!!! It works it works!
Hope you'll be able to follow and understand my steps!

Good luck ;-)
Anamaria

JENNY! The WYSIWYG editor is the one you are alway working while you're editing your posts! That is how they call this place where we edit what we want to post.!
