Friday News talks about code of conduct on the Adlandpro community along with other topics from and around Adlandpro.
When I first created the Adlandpro Wall, like so many members I had my thoughts about how it would be used. For example I envisioned people conversing about business, marketing with the goal of helping each other. To a degree I have been proven right and wrong.
The wall is a gathering place for members to talk about many topics and I have to say that for the most part I truly enjoy the engagements that are occurring and its a good feeling to see people using the wall for so many reasons.
The moderators of the wall are all volunteers who take the time from their busy day to make sure that the wall is running smoothly and that if there are problems that they follow their common sense or they can ask me for guidance. The job they do is not always easy and I want each of you who are doing this "task" to know that you are appreciated in every way. If you wish to become a moderator, please contact me so that we can talk about it.
While I am not responsible for any content that might be considered offensive or objectionable, I have always believed that if the majority of people are having a problem, then I will step in and do what needs to be done to make sure that everyone can enjoy all parts of this site.
I would remind everyone that this is a family site and young people (10 years old and older) can register and use this service and even though most of the members are over 30, that we all behave as though younger people were active on this community.
I would ask that you make yourself familiar with the Terms of service which can be found here -> Terms and Conditions so that you can have a clear understanding about your obligations, conduct, proprietary rights etc.
When it comes to conduct on the Adlandpro site, I am putting in the official wording of expectations of conduct
As a user you agree not to post, email, or otherwise make available content which meet the following criteria:
Illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, pornographic, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, or harms minors in any way;
Discrimination on the basis religion, gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, age, or disability toward an individual or group of individuals.
Impersonating any person or entity, including, but not limited to, a Adlandpro employee, or falsely states or otherwise misrepresents your affiliation with a person or entity.

Sharing personal information about another person without that person's explicit written consent or sharing false, deceptive, misleading, deceitful, misinformation regarding said person.
Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party, or content that you do not have a right to make available under any law or under contractual relationships.
There will be no form of advertising or solicitation if (1) posted in areas of Adlandpro which are not designated for such purposes; or (2) emailed to Adlandpro users who have requested not to be contacted about other services, products or commercial interests.
You will not advertise any illegal services or the sale of any items the sale of which is prohibited or restricted by applicable law, including without limitation items the sale of which is prohibited or regulated by Canadian law.
You will not use any app or program that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.
You won't disrupt the normal flow of dialogue with an excessive number of messages (flooding attack) to our service, or that otherwise negatively affects other users' ability to use our service.
You won't employ misleading email addresses, or forged headers or otherwise manipulated identifiers in order to disguise the origin of content transmitted through our service.
Even though there is nothing specific regarding language, I would suggest that profanity not be used as it can upset others, but at times the occasional slip will happen. Depending on the severity of the language will determine whether a post be asked to be removed and rewritten or the post will be removed.
There are always going to be topics or subjects that will create a lot of controversy and to remember that we are a global community where respect for others rules the day.
I would also like to remind all members that some topics of conversation might be better put on forums or create a group so that those topics can be talked about in an open fashion without offending others or " disrupting the normal flow of dialogue" including flooding the site with excessive messages on the same or similar topics.
I would suggest that we all follow the golden rule of "Post unto others, as you would have them post unto you" Translating this.. think about what you are saying in the community including the Adlandpro wall before hitting the enter key.

As this has been a very lengthy post regarding the usage of the Adlandpro community and wall, I have not left too much room for anything else, and for that I am saying I am sorry, but I felt that this needed to be talked about in an open and transparent fashion.

The Value of Love
Many years ago all feeling and emotions have gathered to spent their vacation on a coastal island. Each of them was having a good time, but one day there was announced a warning of a storm and everyone had to leave the island.
This caused a panic, all rushed to their boats and only Love did not wish to be in a hurry. There was so much to do, so Love was the last, who realized that it was time to leave. However, no free boats were left and Love looked around with hope.
As Prosperity was passing by in its classy boat, Love asked: „Please, take me in your boat“. But Prosperity replied: „My boat is full of gold and other precious possessions, there is no place for you“.
Then Vanity came by in a lovely boat. Love asked: „Vanity, could you take me in your boat? Please, help me.“ Vanity said: „No, your feet are muddy, and I don‘t want my boat get dirty.“
Some time later Sorrow was passing by and Love called for help. But Sorrow answered: „I am so sad, I want to be by myself“.
Then Happiness came by, Love asked for help, but Happiness was too happy, it hardly concerned about anyone.
Suddenly somebody called out: „Love, I will take you with me“. Love did not recognized its savior, just gratefully jumped on to the boat.
When everyone had reached safe place, Love get off the boat and met Knowledge. Love asked: „Knowledge, do you know who helped me when everyone else turned away?“ Knowledge smiled: „That was Time, because only Time knows Love‘s true value and what Love is capable of. Only Love can bring peace and happiness.“
“The message of this story is that when we are prosperous, we underrate Love. When we feel important, we do not appreciate love. And even in happiness and sorrow we overlook love. Only with time we realize the true value of love. Why wait and not cherish and share Love every day of your life?”
