Who am I?  Maria Tiffin, widow, mother, grandmother… and author-in-the-making. I'm halfway through writing a book "The Guide to SMART Thinking" subtitled "How to Develop the Mindset and Skills for Everyday Problem Solving".

I’ve always been interested in education, influenced no doubt by my own positive experiences. I love reading, nurtured and encouraged by my mom, Vicencia, a prolific reader; I absorbed ‘osmosis-like’ the enjoyment of puzzles and games from my late dad, Basilio; and I discovered a passion for teaching and bringing about informed enlightenment, as practised by my late husband, Ted.

My life purpose?  To use my curiosity, sense of fun and adventurous spirit to help and motivate others to reach their potential and be joyful.
