Dearest Carla,

You have most certainly been through the refiner's fire, there's no two ways about it.  You did the best you could with what you had to deal with and you came out magnificently.  None of it was your fault.  One day we will understand the why's of it all.

You are a sweet spirit and God's child.  He loves you so very much.
