	Hello Stephen :-) At first I wanted to find out what your title of POTD means?! ... I have to say it wasn't an easy job, as what I found in the Dictionary didn't really fit for Amanda?! she is much more a sparkle than a flicker?! CONGRATULATIONS AMANDA for your POTD featuring! I'm so happy for finding you here as this way I could find out lots of things about you, and thus I know you better from now on! Your love for horses is obvious... 	Hi Ana Maria, when I saw Amanda standing beside that beautiful horse and caring for him (or her), it made me think of the movie "Flicka" (and also "Dreamer") about a girl and her horse which she names "Flicka." I agree, Amanda is much more than a flicker, she is like a candle that never goes out, always illuminating the way. "Flicka" is the name of the horse in a good movie. Fittingly, as Amanda has lived in Wyoming, "16-year-old Katherine "Katy" McLaughlin (Alison Lohman) has big dreams of administering her father's Wyoming horse ranch, but her father, Rob, (Tim McGraw) and mother, Nell, (Maria Bello) have other, larger plans for their daughter. Being a similar, independent spirit to Katy, Rob has a hard time understanding his daughter as she defies his authority to spend time with a stray mustang she named "Flicka" (the Swedish word for girl )." For more, go rent the DVD or do some more research online.
