Hi Peter,

Thanks for the info on Chanukah.

It is too bad that the significance of the world's holidays are getting lost in the secular/commercial culture.

A blessed Channukah to you & my other Jewish friends. May our Father in faith the G-d of Abraham,Isaac & Jacob bless you this Channukah & all the year through.

Take care & Shalom,

Robert

Today I have learned new things - Thank you Peter for sharing that with us.

Our Reverend also decided to share traditions and brought the Mexican Posada tradition to our village as a trial three years ago and it is sill being enjoyed this year, only instead of real people and a real donkey, we have three little figures and a log book that travel to a new house in the village each day.  Children and parents write about the adventures of the figures for that day for others to read.

Through this we have made new friends and aquaintances in the village that we may not have done otherwise.  They finish their carefully planned journey in time to leave the last house and arrive at the church for the Carol Service to take their place in the Nativity Set, placed there by the children during the service.

Blessings to everyone

Hello Peter,

Thank you for the information on Channukah, we're never too old to learn. I love learning about other religion celebrations I find it very interesting and yet so similar in a lot of ways.

Shalom,
Gaby

God Bless Everyone
