Bonjour Peter,

I've been extremely busy offline today, with the gites and I've just managed to check my email notices etc.

It is now Midnight, but I just wanted to say that many moons ago I was a Religious Studies teacher.

I used to teach about Channuka. You have brought back a flood of memories for me.

I felt that it was important to show the pupils about other people's beliefs, customs, way of life and so on in the hope that some love and understanding would be shared then and later.

It is so important for us to have an understanding of other cultures and religions. Roger M said it beautifully I think "By knowledge we discover our similarities, by ignorance we major on our differences". So true isn't it?
