Re: TAKING PRAYER FROM SCHOOLS

God Bless you Carla: This country would be better off today if more teachers took the same stand you did. I do not think my rights were violated nor my personality twarted when my 1-6 grade teacher Prayed, Read the Bible, Had us recite the Pledge of aligence in English, and required us to memorize scripture like the 23 Psalms in class, each day. I knew better who I was than most of our children today. We did not take keys out of cars and trucks, did not lock our houses, went to Church on Sunday and most Wednesday nights, respected each other and their property. Shootings were not heard of and each family earned their living, unless there was an emergency, then all neighbors chipped in. Have we made progress? I think not. Lets keep our modern technology, but go back to the good old days of morality, honesty, fearing God, and respecting man. Merry Christmas! John
