Hi Beryl,
Just wanted to stop by to see how the Celebration is going and a share a favorite recipe that we've enjoyed over the years

Christmas Honey Balls
1 stick Margarine, 4 cups All-purpose Flour, 1 cup Honey, 1 cup Sour Cream, 4 whole Eggs, 2 tsp. Baking Soda, 2 tsp. Baking Powder, 48 Walnut or Pecan Halves
_______________
Pre-heat oven to 350
Lightly grease 2 cookie/baking sheets and  Set aside.
Cut margarine into flour with a pastry knife, or blend in a large mixing bowl.
Place honey in microwave-safe bowl and heat on half-power until bubbling.
Add honey to flour and margarine. Stir well.
Add sour cream, eggs, baking soda, and baking powder to mixture.
Knead the mixture into a smooth dough. If necessary, add more flour, 1 T. at a time, until dough is no longer too sticky to work.
Pinch off small pieces of dough, roll into about 3/4" size balls.
Place balls on prepared baking sheet.
Press a walnut or pecan half in center of each cookie
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden
Cool on a wire rack
Makes 48 cookies
Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks

__________

Wishing You And Your Family All Of The Special Blessings Of Christmas And May That Same Joy Be With You Throughout The New Year Ahead.
Have A Blessed Day,
Phil

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the delicious receipe, fantastic graphics and the beautiful Christmas song.

I am hopeing to be home for Christmas, since I couldn't be there for Thanksgiving, but it depends on the weather.

I have to work Christmas Day, but will try to go the weekend end before and celebrate then.

Thanks for stopping back by and all the warm holiday wishes.  I and my family both thank you.
