Judy, I must have hundreds of birds! I was just outside and must look like a really, really well tanned snow white~what?
It is 68 degrees and there are so many pecans on the ground and worms digging-none of the creatures remembered to fly south and just stay here-in my yard!
Every time I start a new garden spot-more birds!

So I guess you can just plan your vaction in my yard:)

Someday I will have to visit NM - there are a lot of geese here in the spring through mid fall and they are a different variety and not nearly as graceful and pretty.

The formations and the pure insticts are amzing to me - tell me there isn't a GOD after watching them display their beautiful and spendorous acrobatics in flight!!
