Hi Nick,

went over and read the story, and posted there too. Thank you for sharing, and for making us stop n think for a while about things we so take for granted.

To me [ materialistically speaking] the abundance of my life is known when I see so many suffering without so much, and I feel blessed. Then I look at the 'have it all' and know, that all that they have, has come with a price.... a price I am not willing to pay:-)  and so,  yes , materialistically  I lack much, thats out of my own choice, but will not let the world steal my joy and peace and faith that I have in abundance to give to all who come my way, and none of these depend on my having or not having one particular material thing of the world.

Thats me, and my thoughts :-)

Bless you Nick for being a blessing to us.

Have a lovely weekend

Hi Pauline,

I responded to your comment at Beautiful Summer Morning and I have sent you and email. Thanks for your comments.

Abundance is for your what you believe it to be, and you can change abundance or lack there of, just by changing the way you view a thing.

Thanks for the lovely quote as well.

Much Joy to You,

Nick

Hi Nick,

I read the article with great interest and enjoyed reading it as much as you enjoyed writing it. I also posted a comment on your blog. Beautiful and peaceful layout by the way.

Every thing in life is seen differently by most people. I have been accused by those that know me for years of being a hopeless optimist. I'll always see the good even in the bad times and know that with positive actions and outlook things will change.

I've never been impressed with possessions but find my home full of them. In times of scarcity I never felt deprived or that anything was missing when I didn't have them.

Possessions and wealth are here today and gone tomorrow as are we. The short time we spend in  our lives should be enjoyed with all the wonders that surround us but many a time we fail to see and appreciate them; like Joe's tree.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us.

Best wishes & Shalom,

Peter

Thanks Peter,

I agree with every word you said. And I thank you to for your comments at Beatuiful Summer Morning, where I did respond to  your comments. Joe's tree is a great example and something most people can easily relate too.

For me, and the reason behind Beautiful Summer Morning, is feeling the joy in the things that surround us, and which are there whether we wanted them or not, like the sunshine.

Nick
