Yes, it would be better to convert than to kill. I can't see Muslims coverting to Christianity any time soon though.
Yes, a lot of battles in the name of God have been fought but he is worth fighting for.
I never have understood why we have so many denominations. Why can't we all just be one religion under God?
The reason we pick a church though is to associate with Christian people and fellowship. A good Church does teach from the Bible and not on their own opinions. God does want us to fellowship with other Christians and stay away from the devil worshippers.
The way to salvation is not just being the best human you can be. We must first confess our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Saviour. So you can actually be a very good person and do good and wind up in hell if you do not confess your sins and accept Jesus Christ into your life.
