HELLO DANIELLE!

Thank you for the time you offer to find these statements o scholars, researchers and scientists, my basis is Johannes Kordatos books. This great modern historian made an excellent research on what Christianity and Judaism is and why Judaism broke to Christianity and Islam.

Thank you for bringing in Alexander the Great and Antiochus in the discussion. I will tell you and all my friends who Alexander the Great was and why he conquered ASIA. Amongst them Palestine. There is scientist meaning that he was murdered by the Chaldeans. Do we know who the Chaldeans were? Maybe a A Jewish conspiracy against Alexander the Great in Babylon. Which town is "THE WHORE OF BABYBLON". Is it Rome, Jerusalem, Babylon, New York?

Is it maybe a code for a certain town?

Let's see if our spiritual and political friends will come in. Why war in Iraq? New York, Babylon, Jerusalem and Rome were involved, then and now.

In the footsteps of Alexander the Great I will come to both, Jerusalem and Babylon.

Hi georgios ,
You have also ask the meaning of:ELOCHIM AND NEPHELIM
Here is what i have find out correct me if i am wrong .
Dany

Elohim (אֱלוֹהִים , אלהים ) is a Hebrew word which expresses concepts of divinity. It is apparently related to the Hebrew word ēl, though morphologically it consists of the Hebrew word Eloah (אלוה) with a plural suffix. Elohim is the third word in the Hebrew text of Genesis and occurs frequently throughout the Hebrew Bible. Its exact significance is often disputed.

"And Elohim (God) created Adam"
"And Elohim (God) created Adam"

In some cases (e.g. Exodus 3:4, "... Elohim called unto him out of the midst of the bush ..."), it acts as a singular noun in Hebrew grammar (see next section), and is then generally understood to denote the single God of Israel. In other cases, Elohim acts as an ordinary plural of the word Eloah (אלוה), and refers to the polytheistic notion of multiple gods (for example, Exodus 20:3, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."). This may reflect the use of the word "Elohim" found in the late Bronze Age texts of Canaanite Ugarit, where Elohim ('lhm) denoted the entire Canaanite pantheon (the family of El אל, the patriarchal creator god).

In most English translations of the Bible (e.g. the King James Version), the letter G in "god" is capitalized in cases where Elohim refers to the God of Israel, but there is no distinction between upper and lower case in the Hebrew text.

[edit] Significance in the documentary hypothesis

The choice of word or words for God varies in the Hebrew Bible. According to the documentary hypothesis these variations are evidence of different source texts: Elohim is used as the name of God in the Elohist and the Priestly source, while Yahweh is used in the Jahwist source. The difference in names results from the theological point being made in the Elohist and Priestly sources that God did not reveal his name, Yahweh, to any man before the time of Moses.

The Hebrew of “nephilim” is נפלים, which may mean “those causing others to fall”. Abraham Ibn Ezra says they were called this because men's hearts would fail at the sight of them. Targum Yerushalmi understands this appellation in light of the legend that they were fallen angels who were divorced from heaven. Some have compared it to the usage in Job 1:15 "And the Sabeans fell upon them" in which Naphal means to take in battle, describing the warlike nature of the Nephilim (Jean le Clerc and Aquilas). Alternatively, Shadal understands it as deriving from the Hebrew word פלא Pela which means wonderous[7].

The nephilim come from a union between “sons of God” (בני האלהים “b’nei ha-'elohim” Lit. "Sons of the powers" [8]) and “daughters of man”. In Aramaic culture, the term Nephila specifically referred to the constellation of Orion, and thus Nephilim to Orion's semi-divine descendants (cf. Anakim from Anak);[9] the implication being that this also is the origin of the Biblical Nephilim. Some commentators[citation needed] have suggested that the Nephilim were believed to have been fathered by members of a proto-Hebrew pantheon (which causes much controversy among Jewish peoples[10]) and are a brief glimpse of early Hebrew religion, most of the details of which were later edited out from the Torah (or at least would have been edited out when, as some claim, it was redacted together), and that this passage may have offered monotheistic Hebrews a way to fit semi-divine pagan heroes into their cosmogony.

The idea that the Torah was somehow changed is not in keeping with traditional Hebrew practice, in which if even a single character is out of place in a parchment translation of the original Hebrew Torah, the entire parchment must be destroyed and replaced anew. However, there are several variations, some of great significance, between ancient manuscripts of the Torah, between Septuagint, Syriac Peshitta, Dead Sea Scrolls, masoretic text, Samaritan Pentateuch, and the versions in the Hexapla, as well as between various manuscripts within each of these groups.

In the Hebrew Bible, there are a number of other words that, like "Nephilim", are sometimes translated as "giants":

  • Emim ("the fearful ones")
  • Rephaim ("the dead ones")
  • Anakim ("the [long]-necked ones")

This has led to a great deal of confusion, even to the point of medieval legends recounted in the Talmud of a giant stowing away on Noah's Ark. It is possible that these names in the Torah were not meant to signify any antediluvian race that survived the Great Flood, but were simply denotations for particular groups of Canaanites, or other ordinary ethnicities.

On Elohim and Nephilim ---------------------------------- Greetings Danielle, To me your last post on 11-05 was the most interesting so far in this entire thread. Even though you did not mention it, and no one else has in here either, the references you made almost point out to historical reference and borderline evidence on a theory that has been circulating in the world scientific community for more than several years. That being said, that Mankind did not evolve here on Earth originally, though some evolution probably did occur; or that we were created either in the Garden of Eden or some other place in mythological reference. Many scientists, and many of them prominent in Russia, The USA, & Japan, are starting to put together the story of how we are really a gigantic inter-galactic experiment. This theory proposes that we are not one original race divided at Babylon, but 6 or 8 different races, each coming from or having been transplanted here from our original respective worlds located throughout the Galaxy... or even possibly different galaxies. What made me think of this while reading your post was your mention of Orion and the fallen angels. It was almost like the scenario on the movie 'Stargate'. Where the supposed 'Gods', were really just men with technological advantages that made them appear God-like. Then there is the wandering tribe in Africa who purposefully keep their numbers to around 200 to 300 or so, as they have ever since they left 'Dark-Star', their original home world, which they have believed for thousands of years to be their planet of origin. Science has long suspected that there may be a planet on the opposite side of the sun, exactly like earth, though we have not yet seen it. However, in recent years Science has proved that even though not a planet, something "IS" over there. The show "In Search Of", starring Leonard Nimoy did a documentary on these people. This theory would also answer many questions not only about our existance, but also missing links in religion and history. It might explain, for example the technology of the ancient Egyptians and how they built pyramids to such exacting dimensions... where the opposite bottom corners were less than 1-inch out of square. I can appreciate this as a carpenter. One pyramid was over one mile between opposite corners. The bad thing about this theory is, if they ever prove it, one, we will probably meet the alien watchers who have been here for centuries, or even eons. And two, modern religion based on God, Jesus, and creation in the Garden of Eden would be blown clean out of the water. Then who knows what chaos might ensue afterwards? If anyone else has anything to add to this, please post your reply, as this is a deep pet subject of mine and we could really make an interesting conversation of it. So, to all, I leave you with thoughts of wonder, of merriment, and possibly confusion. Until the next one, I am, Benster!

Great post from Danielle.

If you want to go back before the biblical history then you need to go to the even more ancient scriptures from the underwater cities that were once not covered by the sea, before the floog od Noah.
So you need to thing Lost City of Atlantis and there history records as they where the human race before our human race.
Georgios, rememeber the furum you had where we had post about this and also information that is more recent about the fact that the Lemorians had a slightly defferent dna, to out forefathers :
:) from Keith.
