	Hello Kathy! Thanksgiving celebration in your world is a nice movement and a nice event were the family meets and celebrate as a social cell trying to keep the contact to each other. About crime and thanksgiving. Our manners have changed very much lately. In Europe we call this kind of behaving "American Style". Individualism is destroying all nice ventures and events and that is what Benton refers too. Things are different here too. People are not as generous as they were 30-40 years ago or earlier. Heavy indrustrialism is another reason that eliminated the big families. Well still there are people keeping the tradition and that is good. Georgios

	Hello Peter! Thank you for the comment. Very nice and true. Thanksgiving are two words that hide nice behaviour and kindness. Today we live in stress and under fysic and psychic presure. We work 8 hours but to catch up some people need 10-11 hours just for their job. Family is not aw before. Earlier the big families gave a form of support to the younger families. Today we have kindergardens earlier the grandparents took the responsibility for the kids while the the parents were working. Happy new week Georgios

	Hello Beryl! Thank you for the support and your comment. There are many people claiming that they feel alone and need contact with their family and with other people. A good example is our friends in this community. I got many times messages from friends telling me how difficult it is to be elder and alone. Today the family is split. It is unususal to find a family of three generations living together and another problem is that we are split all over the country. Earlier people lived in villages, but now in big towns and metropolitan towns which makes us to fear the strangers and we stay as individuals. I am for an open but small community. I am born in THessalinik a town with one milion people but p\refer to live in a small town of 40-50.000 people. Happy new week Georgios

	Georgios, Thanks for leading me here, I always love reading your stories. Mythology was my favorite subject in school, next to Math and Science of course ;) I also Love the smaller towns, born in population of 25,000 and now live population 125 actually we live in the country, but the closest town is 125.
