It's so good to see you here, Joyce.

I don't know about the elegant part, but I really do enjoy doing a variety of things. As for the autobiography, well, it'll have to wait until I'm done or at lest until many of the involved parties have left the planet. Anyhow, I tend to forget things after I'm done with them - makes more space in my brain for new stuff I think. 

I picked this flower from my garden for you because, like you, it's beautiful on the inside.

Thanks for coming, Sharon.

Actually, I was living in New York (Astoria, Long Island) when I got married, but there was a huge cultural difference between my family and my husbands and I really did feel like I had arrived in a different world - which I had. It was a real learning experience for my barely 18 year old self and I wouldn't trade it for anything!

This shows how I felt at the time. I got over it though and enjoyed Brooklyn greatly. I think it's the first place I ever got a sense of neighborhood.
