Yes i remember those wars in Israel Peter even more so now that im a priest but we have always had those from the crusader days 100s of years ago remember? Back the in those 70s i was able to watch first hand from my mothers boyfriend his trips of his stay in Vietnam, bringing home 8 millimeter films of the killing there, i can tell you storys of what i saw and it was agian unfortuent that my "mother" would slet me see them. Her boyfriend at the time lived with her for about 4 years and had 2 tours in Nam, great mechanic, i learned alot from him about cars but was a jerk never the less hehe. Hey Shalom brother! Thanks for sharing with us and me.

Thomas Gump?

Run Thomas, run!

I was 10 years old in August 1970.

Have mixed memories of the seventies from childhood to teenage hormones in orbit, to preparations for my marriage in 1981.

My friends all had great big clumpy platform shoes, but I only had dainty little platforms because I was tall and thin, and looked totally ridiculous in the big clumpy ones.  Mind u when I come to think about it, my friends looked pretty ridic too!!

I remember tripping myself up with my bell bottom trews as they wrapped themselves round my legs as I walked.

I had a Sindy doll.  I used to make clothes for her.

I loved watching "Happy Days" Bucko.

What memories you've stirred up Thomas!

Blessings,

Sarah

Wow Sarah thanks for your contribution, yeah i was 14 in 81 but thought i was 20 at the time lol. Wow the Starland Vocal band, i also remember the Captian and Tenelle, the Carpenters would come over to the house since they lived in L.A. not far from Burbank and we would sing songs when they had there breaks from touring, Karen was not really like herself at the time so her brother would kind of coax her into singing with us sometimes, kinda wierd. Anyway , thank you for your contribution Sarah oh and in those days my dolls that id play with was Evil Knievil famious motor cycle jumper and G.I Joe!
