Just a note Mark, I haven't touched a TE except for placing a banner nor do I use safe lists any longer other than for placing banners or text ads I can set and forget. We have different business models and I know you are a local focused contractor source. You seem to be wanting to become the Kalamazoo Angie's List. Not a bad idea as you can now buy Angie List rankings even though they claim it isn't so, so the value of that membership is questionable now.
When I was floorcovering contracting we linked wheeled with other trades this way and shared referrals when what the consumer wanted was beyond the scope of what we did. It is the NETWORKING that was key for me and many others during lean times. We didn't have the web for this in my day that I was aware at least.
So we did it the hard way with face to faces at trade meetings and shows. Plus on the jobsite as well too. I have my Rolodex and my little black book to this day. Full of every trade, business connection and business card I ever swapped with other contractors.
This is why the PowerWay system we are developing will be beneficial for those that take advantage of the service.
We will provide local businesses the benefits of your hard earned work and take your top spot because we interject the social as well as the SERP values for those businesses that have an ad budget but no time to do for themselves. I am actually giving you a heads up. Because I now know whats hot in Kalamazoo and will target your competition in taking your top spot away. ;) Just an example Mark, I really have no plan to target your market unless hired by your local competition. Then the game will be on, so to speak.

You really don't know what I do and what my world is about.
I am in constant one on one contact with Home owners that make $100,000.00 to $200,000.00 a year consulting with them on many areas of the home with improvements, upgrades, remodeling, landscaping, electrical, plumbing, structural issues, and maybe just a few more. I Started this on my own and built everything myself to bring in more income as coming to Michigan with nothing. My biggest problem is that it brings in more work then I can handle and gets real visitors and a call of action by people using search engines to find what they are looking for.
Now here is the kicker of this whole thing. Not only am i making good money and building a reputation as one of the top service providers in my area, but I am now connecting to my competitors (not really) and other businesses that are not getting as much work as they would like and putting jobs to them. So you see, I am not crawling around, I am building a business that when I can''t do the work, I can still run the Website, all the contacts, the data base, the management, and get the work done by other professionals in their trade, and still make money. Then there is a bigger picture with this. So you see it is not just about what you see or think I do, it is about building something that generates income, and completely owned by me. This idea has been built from the ground up and never has had anything to do with social media, networking, social connection, likes, sharing, or anything else.
So when we don't see eye to eye with so many things it is because what what works and you have the training for just is not me. I new in the first 6 months of looking into and trying affiliate marketing that this was not going to work for me. I hated anything related to traffic exchanges and safe list. I hated joining all the different social channels that people say you have to have to grow your business, I hated promoting something that was owned by someone else. It was just not me.
Right now, I use this site just for playing with images and using different programs with creating something.
And most important. Give you a hard time because you are just too much fun.
