Another one that took forever to say something.

This free steps is about click bank that has been around for a long time and placing ads for ppc.

The second part, is after all his talking, is about paying him for some system.

Go for it.

Perry Marshall was one of my first training videos I used to learn about this stuff and ppc. this is when I wanted to know how to be top of generic searches with out all that placing ads, paying for ads, and promoting something for someone else.

Now as far as the Facebook search, is a good thing. But also remember that all people that spend money are not Facebook junkies and a lot of home owners don't log-in to any social site to do searches.

Your target market may be but mine, and by doing a lot of investigation with homeowners are not.

You should pay for this and use this system and then push it forward if they have an affiliate offer if it works for you.

Click Bank, placing paid ads, and running campaigns is not too new.

Mark, you never told me any of this stuff. You may have posted it in your forum but sorry I missed it. I have a newsflash for you. I didn't just start this stuff last week. I have been marketing, testing, perfecting, sharing and yes sometimes teaching others.

You aren't the only one to take the initiative and learn about this stuff on my own to share with others. Like me you are hard to take at times, because you come across as too blunt and combative for most tastes.

That said yours may be a unique business but you do offer some services online because that's the easy way for you while you trim and carpenter during the day. I did the same when I could still get around and crawl through attics and climb on top condos on the beach in 95 degree weather service and tune HVAC systems. Now I spend my days at home in front of my computer. You have a service you offer locally and yes that social feely pat on the back stuff will work for you but only if you learn to soften your job foreman style.

Learning social networking is just as much a skill as learning SEO which is really fricking easy crap to do. It ain't rocket science. You pick a niche, gather some keywords related, place you tags properly and so forth and so on. It is boring as heck to me. I prefer working the social side, I am a salesman I make my living from sales. I have been a straight commission independent contractor most of my adult life.

As for Google it is the bee in the honey hole and I have a great disdain for them as they want to be GOD and I don't like that. I play the game by forcing them to rank me because of my social networks and getting ranked on other SERPS. I play one way you play the other. It is a style difference but we both have that straight forward pragmatic no BS way of speaking.

With 14 years under my belt I may not be the authority you think you are but I have the right connections and that makes all the difference.

Have an awesome day.
Jim

Really, and it took someone else for you to get it.
And to think, I have been against this for some time now.
No comments, no guess post, no outside linking by others posting on my Website Ever.
Remember, it is a business and not a social, geeky, follow, commenting, pat on my back for like's thing.
I think Google just keeps getting smarter, more powerful, and can detect bull, and can now let the good ones rank and the others get what they deserve for their marketing and ranking tricks.

Google Warns Against Large-Scale Guest Posting, Advertorials & “Optimized Anchor Text” In Press Releases

Google has quietly updated the link schemes document under their Webmaster guidelines to add large-scale guest posting, advertorials and optimized anchor text in articles or pres
s releases to the list of types of links that violate their guidelines.

The new guideline examples that were added to this document include:

  • Large-scale article marketing or guest posting campaigns with keyword-rich anchor text links
  • Advertorials or native advertising where payment is received for articles that include links that pass PageRank
  • Links with optimized anchor text in articles or press releases distributed on other sites.

Google also removed these guideline examples:

  • Linking to web spammers or unrelated sites with the intent to manipulate PageRank
  • Links that are inserted into articles with little coherence

Large-Scale Guest Posts

This should come as no surprise, it is a topic we covered earlier this month. If you are guest blogging with the intent to build links, and those blog posts are done large-scale with very little quality built into them, Google may take action against the links in those articles or guest blog posts.

You can do guest blog posts but if you are doing it with the intent to gain keyword-rich anchor text, then be warned.

Advertorials

Again, this should also come as no surprise. We had a detailed video from Google’s Matt Cutts on why advertorials with links need to be nofollwed. We even had major e-commerce sites getpenalized for using this technique to build links.

Optimized Anchor Text In Press Releases

This is one of the big changes that may have not been so clear for many webmasters. Google said, “links with optimized anchor text in articles or press releases distributed on other sites,” is an example of an unnatural link that violate their guidelines. The key are the examples given and the phrase “distributed on other sites.” If you are publishing a press release or an article on your site and distribute it through a wire or through an article site, you must make sure to nofollow the links if those links are “optimized anchor text.”

The example Google gives is:

There are many wedding rings on the market. If you want to have a wedding, you will have to pick the best ring. You will also need to buy flowers and a wedding dress.

Google Removed Some Examples Of Link Schemes:

Why did Google specifically remove those examples of link schemes? It is unclear and we hope to clarify. I do think that those examples are still covered in the overall theme of the link schemes document. In fact, I think the other examples, for the most part, cover the examples removed.

A hat tip to Menaseh for sending this tip my way.

There are new techniques is much easier to do now that FB has woken up as to how to turn a profit. Now a few savvy folks have been using it with great results myself and my team included. The concept may not be new but the mechanics and the places have new twists for those that will take the risk and learn how to do it. For $5 bucks a day I can build a list, send traffic where I want it etc... This information I shared is good information. Just because in your small world you feel it isn't needed doesn't mean there aren't those of us, that have found folks using this new system since FB opened their doors to the little guy willing to risk as little as 5$ bucks a day. The results are great.

As for affiliating, you can bet that I am and have made a few sheckles while doing so. Thanks for your input.

Have a great day,
Jim
