Helen was so right.

I don't want to be sexist here, but I think women probably feel and 'think' with their hearts more than men do.

There are always exceptions to the rule, of course.

But in general, I think that is the case.



This is a bleeding heart. My very dear friend (who passed on this year and left me with a bleeding heart) had one of these plants on her terrace.  It was  beautiful.  It is known as "Le coeur de Marie" here (Mary's heart). That's a much prettier and brighter name for it.

My friend, Edmonde, had a big heart, a wonderful garden and veg patch, and cared a great deal for Mother Earth and her fellow man.  This plant was very apt for her.

Okay for your Mum and yes to sending Reiki to Mother Earth.

Reiki is a positive universal healing energy.  You cannot do bad with it. Whenever it is used, positive energy is given to Mother Earth.

I give Reiki to my garden, to individual  plants, to the animals and human animals.

Even if you are not a Reiki, positive thoughts and touching can only bring positive energy, love and light to Mothers Earth and Nature.

If given from and felt by the heart, we can all do our little bit.  Every little bit counts, wouldn't you agree.

I like the way you frame them.

Here is a view from the side of our garden, which I took last winter.

Polly the pony and two arabian horses, Eros and Sheba, had just invited themselves to our place.  Raymonde had put them in our field to keep them safe.

Polly is still with us, along with her companion, Loupio the donkey.

They plan on staying.  Their owner consented to them staying with us and we are now the owners.  Animals know what they want.
