Yes, we've had more rain than is normal too, but we are enjoying beautiful sunshine now.
That's a beauty of a tomato. I've never had much success in growing them, I'm afraid to say. But we are going to try just a few plants this year again.
I used to grow tom plants from seed, in my greenhouse and then sell the plants at the local markets or here from my garden. People used to say what wonderful toms they'd had from my plants. I just smiled and didn't tell them that I had not had that success.
Since then we have been working on the soil and with Polly and Loupio's contributions, I'm hoping for success now.
