Hello, my friends!

My team & I are now home from the 3Day, 60 miles Breast Cancer Walk!  The walk raised in excess of $5 million towards the battle for a cure... I was honored to stand in the "Circle of Survivors" and carry the "Courage" banner at opening ceremonies.  And when the walkers, nearly 2000 of them, raised there shoes in the air in tribute to the survivors at closing ceremonies, there was not a dry eye in the place!

We continue now to train & fundraise for the 2008 walks.  I will be at the Boston, San Francisco & Tampa Bay 3Day's in 2008.

Wow-can I recruit your "Clicking heels guy" for my walk team - he has a lot of energy - he keeps going & going & going...LOL!!

Seriously though, thank you so much...  the 60 mile walk is a truly amazing event...  once participated in , never forgotten.  It is an experience of a lifetime and I am so grateful to all of those who support my walks year after year.

There have been some great strides made in the battle against breast cancer (identification of BRCA1 & BRCA2, herceptin, etc.)...  we are closing in on finding the cure.....

& that willl be the day you will see me dancing for joy & singing!!

As I begin my journey for 2008, I look forward to another year of discoveries, with renewed hope that the cure will be found!
