Hi Rudy, I've got a few minutes here in Los Angeles to respond. True, we probably will never get the worlds problems resolved, however, if we get ourselves on the right road, maybe we could change the direction of our personal future!

Matthias, thank you for sharing the link. I took a brief look at it.  Forgiveness is definitely an important aspect of christian living. After all, how many times did Christ forgive?

Hello James,

Thanks for inviting me to your forum.

Are you referring to Jewish religion here?  The Shabbat which starts on Friday afternoon and ends on Sunday afternoon.

Christianity is belief in Jesus Christ, God,  Mary (mother of Jesus) and other Saints.  Jewish Religion has no belief in Jesus Christ.

Cheers,

Esther.

Hi Esther, the Sabbath I am referring to is the biblical Sabbath. There is a Jewish Religion which believes in Christ (Messianic). They also believe in the Sabbath as from sunset Friday to sunset Saturday. I am not a Jew myself, I am a Seventh-Day Adventist, which has very similar beliefs to the Messianic Jews.

Thank you for sharing!

SABBATH DAY: SUNDAY OR SATURDAY?
11/3/2007 9:30:46 AM

In the Old Testament, the fourth commandment states, ... THE SEVENTH DAY IS A SABBATH to the Lord your God....(Exodus 20:8-10, NIV). http://massachusetts.pressmania.com/all/194/186302.aspx
