Thank you Shirley.  I cannot imagine the criticism and gossip that she had to endure.  Although publishing companies refused to sell her books, she didn't let that stop her and her books became best sellers.

I do wish I had good news about John.  All we can do is pray and wait.  Hopefully the series of tests he is taking will enlighten the doctors as to how to proceed.

What burdens me most is that he is so terribly discouraged.
