Thank you for being so sweet Amanda.  I am so glad you enjoy following Women of Courage.  We, the team, enjoy bringing them to you.

So glad you enjoyed Lillian's story.  This was one courageous lady.  Have you any idea the criticism she had to put up with?  Yet, in her heart, she knew what was right and stood up for it.  More of us need to do that.

Hugs,

Luella

Hi Luella,

Lillian was a woman of courage. Even today, it is hard for some women to stand up for what they believe in. Lillian is an encouragement to all women that we can make a difference.

Blessings

Hello Carla!

So glad you enjoyed reading about Lillian.  In her day and age, she was a most courageous lady.  How many of us would have had the guts to stand up for what we believed?  She was out on a limb.

Thank you Roger, I am honored.  Carla has already passed on the Great Lady to me and she will be featured on Monday.

Brave certainly describes Lillian.  I cannot help to think how difficult it must have been to stand up for equality in that day and age.  Yet, she was determined and did it.
