Dear Kathy Following is a reply from me to Thomas in Article of Virtue page 7 but I think it fits very well here and want to share this with you and our friends Dearest Thomas There are no people out there who don't recognize Gods Work Ignorance is their problem. When I start to think of my works or anything else that depends on me and on my
knowledge, that's when I really end up getting nowhere. But when I
begin to trust my inner soul and spirit in God and in his good work in me to really move and
change me, that's when I begin to see his hand, inexplicably, in a true
sense, in my life. There
have been lots of and a number of major issues in
my life over the years that I had to come to realize that there was no
hope as long as I thought that in a sense it depends on me. Whne I
relax at montais or close to the sea feeling the waves touch the beach
or the wind touch smoothly the leaves of the trees I
understand and I see that it all depends on God, but then from that, as
I
begin to experience his good work in me, then inexplicably I begin to
move, think and live in a direction that before I could not achieve. Here is a nice video clip - Feel the harmony and the balance of nature.
click on the leaves Our daily life
revolves around the Liturgy of the Hours (praying and singing the
psalms) and celebrating the Eucharist. Lectio Divina, reflecton on the
Word of God, is our lifeblood. We are washed with the Word every day.
We meditate on the Word. Little by little we become the Word.
Our
work supports our life of prayer, whether is be making altar bread,
welcoming visitors, responding to prayer requests, making soap and
candles, playing music, cooking or gardening. In everything we
do-working and relaxing, studying and praying-we try to be aware of
God's presence.
