Hello Kathy,
Thank you for this post! I had the opportunity to go to Jesus's house just today with my little girl... she was all over the pew - at the ripe age of 2, but was glad to go and felt better afterwards. To answer the question in the subject line - Jesus is already in my house. lol.. he is always welcomed here too. Often when we do holiday dinners, I will say aloud, Jesus come and enjoy in our festivities. I love how your post reads and think it gives us all something to think about.
I had read a bible story one time about two sisters and the one was always rushing around cooking and cleaning while the other sat at His feet and listened to him. The one doing the work commented on how her sister was just blowing off the work when in reality, she was just slowing down a bit and listening to words of wisdom. I often times find myself as the person rushing around and have had to stop myself and tell myself certain things will wait - or these certain things are always going to be having to get done.. to stop and enjoy the present moment - that is, after all, why they call it the present...lol.. Thank you, once again, for such a cool post.
