Re: Apology to Adland Community

Hi Monica

WOW, I think I will only come in and reply when needed.

I agree with you and Jenny on your concerns and questions.  I would like to see answers to those.

I feel my outburst and apology has really drawn alot of attention.  And this is not really what I had expected or intended.

But, I would like to ad this if I may.

A Jury in court is 12 members

Not the same 12 members every time.

Perhaps CRC needs to be more like a jury..
If you know the defendant on a personal basis, or already have a personal opinion on the "case", then you should not be allowed on the jury for that case.

Perhaps would even be a good idea, to do like a jury, and rotate the jury each time, so that it is evident that all effort is being given in attaining justice and fairness to all.

Just a thought, and I don't feel it's being unreasonable.

Im here again Beej just reading over things and you made a great statement like a Jury of 12 sometime its not even 12 but 6 or 5 but personal issues and agendas stay out of the CRC. Things do come up and do realize that. So they dont get involved (if and when) that happens, they wait to see the outcome and then vote on it as a whole because it is business and should be treated as such. I thank you once again for your letter. Thomas.

Thomas

I appreciate your very candid reply.  And you sound like you do know what you are talking about.

I do, however wonder, how can someone vote on something, when they can not be bias?

Bj

Its called being committed to an oath you take. Sometimes feelings do get hurt but its a job for the betterment of the community. I look t it as thinking outside of the box rather than getting what you want. Its not easy to be imparcial but its well worth it. Just a cross i carry sometimes.

Thomas

I'm not sure what oath you are talking about.

But if it works for you, I guess it works for me.

Have a great day, and may you always be at peace with yourself.

Bj
