I should add that I also agree with Robert, that YOU are your business, and that contact and networking with others is another major piece of the puzzle.
In particular, once you've acquired a customer, great service and regular followup will show that you are interested in them, and they will buy from you again and again.

Thanks for being honest.  I will get more information on PPC before I try to jump into it. My goal is to make money, not spend it.

If you have any other suggestions for me, please let me know.

I am my business. I am my best promotion.

I get that. I really want to be successful at this AVON business. I chose it because it really does sell itself and the company does it's own advertising.

I want to know, how do I really get out there and talk to people about my business? I got business cards printed up and I've been handing them out, but what do I really need to do?

Let me know.

Good Morning Kay,

Good to see you searching for the key.

What I am about to reveal may or may not surprise you and or every other person that reads this. But anyone can apply this to anything they are doing if they have a viable product, service or business.

To many times people focus on the brick and mortar when building a business.

Ok, sorry, I have to remember I am writing this and not standing in front of a room full of people. I paint pictures and explain what I say so I will try to write what I symbolizing.

Brick and Mortar= product, service or opportunity.

They get excited after hearing all what they heard about what was said.

They come out of a meeting and begin spilling the highlights etc. to anyone they come in contact with and that will listen. What happens people take a step backwards and sum up the info as OH! Another one of THOSE THINGS.

Now they have people saying things like: I am not interested, I don't need, I can't afford etc.

Now the brick and mortar they were so excited about becomes the burden.

So what do we do?

What we need to do is step back, no step way back.

We need to to see the building we are trying to build already completed, we have to have a picture of it finished, what color is the brick, the shape of the building the curves and angles.

So, what is your completed building you are trying to build look like?

It is the same for everyone, there is a constant, that is why what I am about to put here on paper will work for ANYONE in ANY CASE.

"I CAN GET ANYONE TO DO ANYTHING THEY WANT TO DO"

If you need to, read it over and over, until YOU GET IT.

Ok, Got it?

How then do I do that, you ask?

You just found the KEY.

Instead of Telling the people why they should buy your product, your service, your business handing out business cards.

You need to ASK QUESTIONS. Find out what their needs are, let them tell you why they need your product, service or business.

You need to CREATE the VALUE for your product, service or business.

Be real with people.

It is hard to put everything here on paper without writing a book but if you get the basic of what has been said in the above paragraphs it should help shed some light on what you need to learn and develop.

It is my hope this may get you started down the right path.

Of course it will not happen overnight and it takes time to develop how you will apply this to your business but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt it works.

Sincerely,

Robert

Hi Robert,

Splendid information! Great suggestions.

I particularly liked that reinforcing sentence:

I can get anyone to do anything they WANT to do!

Ask the questions that allow your prospect to tell you what their needs (or perhaps more importantly what their wants) are, which then gives you the opportunity to show how your product can fill those needs/wants.

Thanks for sharing.
