Hi Kathy, Beautiful poem. Though I disagree with one part of it, "and let the future look out for its own;" Personally I tried to take responsibility for my future through my thoughts, actions and deeds in the now, doing what I can to help others and myself while retaining the knowledge and acceptance I am neither sinless nor perfect. Always remembering that I am no better or worse then anyone else. For there is no man that can not teach me at least one thing. Just my interpetation.

Hi Kathy, It would seem to me that humility may be the ingrediant to be added somewhere between confidence and arrogance...

Ahh Kathy a favorite subject of mine, humility. We see so little of it in the world today, and especially in the 'world of networking' of which we are a part. I believe that the only course for a Christian to follow is the one outlined in First Peter 5:6 (Peter is counseling the congregation overseers and younger men on subjection) He said, "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of god, that he may exult you in his due time; while throwing all your anxiety upon him because he cares for you." That counsel has always led me. We work hard, we do all the right things and then we look to God to bless our efforts. Human wisdom has far to great a following today even among the Chrisitian populations. Now when speaking of business of course God is not instructing us in the 'exacts' of networking. Although he does give guidance in the essential moral values we must practice and display. So we must have a good working knowledge of God and his word in order to follow Peter's advice and to please God. After all life is full of many areas where we must 'apply' our Christian consciences wisely. Thanks again for this forum Kathy! http://networkingblogs.blogspot.com msbeverly@adlandpro.com

Hello Kathy, I agree with John Sanchez, even Wonder Woman needs time off to recharge her batteries. You need to take more care of yourself. When it comes to hitting a wall I just look at my little words by my computer which reads: "Dont Quit! When things go wrong as they sometimes will, when the road you're trudging seems all uphill. When the funds are low and the debts are high, and you want to smile, but you have to sigh. You never can tell how close you are, it may be near though it seems so far. So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit - It's when things seem worst that you must not quit." God bless. John
