Luella, This one is just amazing. I agree with Terry that we do not think of Mother Mary as a woman of courage. And we should. Mary sacrificed much and suffered hardship the most of her son, the Lord Jesus. Yet, she stood firm and went on to deliver his message as much as she could.

I have always taught my Children to remember this year round and not just on easter and Christmas.

Thank you Luella for this wonderful 36th woman of courage to us all.

They just keep getting better each week.

It must have been very difficult for Mary to tell Joesph that she was going to have a baby that was not his and have the faith that G-d had actually been the one that sent the child to her. Even the thought of what would have happened if anyone knew she was pregnant and not yet married she had to have great courage to risk her own life and her faith had to have been great as well. When you think about it , she could have said no, but she didn't . Look at where we would have been today if she had refused . Mary was an outstanding Women of great courage.

Thanks for the lovely write-up on Mary. I didn't know you were planning to feature her this week but she had alot of courage. It amazes me that she could even ride on a donkey right before delivering a child.
