Thank you for the post. I too thought Betty's post was great. Reminds me of my mom's situation. My dad died in 1986 and they were childhood sweethearts and best friends. When he died, I did not want the same to happen to her. I encouraged her to get out and meet people and not just sit at home and grieve her life away.
She finally took my advice and ran into someone she became interested in. He's a great guy and they were married October 21, 2006 the day before she turned 75. They are extremely happy and I am glad. Love is were it's at.
