Hi, Monica,

Your posts are just adorable.  Yes, friendship and love are what make the entire world go 'round!  I know you're not in for my life story, but I've got to tell you a little bit about me, anyway. I married my school day sweetheart in 1951, and we were married 46-1/2 years.

I have lots of memories and I dwell on them often.  Today is the day that he  passed away, 9 years ago.

But, I'm not going to dwell on that, because I have a feller who is just the most wonderful man  I've ever known.  In fact, he,  his wife, me and my husband used to run together - eat together, go to dances, and to conventions!  His wife passed away in '94, my husband passed away in '98, and he and I ran into each other in 2001, not having seen each other in 20 years!  And the rest is history, as they say.  He treats me like a queen, we run up and down the roads, to the casino occasionally, to church, shopping,  out to eat - - - well, as  you can see, i truly love the guy, and yes,  he is my very best friend!  I hope I haven't bored all of you with this, but I  just had a need to say it.  I hope you understand!

Your story is beautiful, and you did not bore me at all!  I love to see people happy. 

There are times when people give up after the loss of a loved one.  I watched this happen to my grandfather.  Lonliness and depression overcame him, and he passed 8 years after my grandmother.  I would have liked to seen him become happy again. 

I wish you and your friend much, much happiness :)
