Hello Kathy!

Thank you for dropping by!  Muah!

I am so glad you enjoyed reading about Florence Nightingale.  She lived her life solely for others.  Come to think of it, she does have a romantic name.

Thank you for the invitation and for sharing a bio of maybe one of the best know and greatest women of courage. She is known to every one. I had even to write a test in school on Florence Nightingale.

Congratulations LUELLA-JOHN and WOMAN OF COURAGE team. Florence Nightingale is most deserving this title and you made the best choise.

Happy Birthday America

Hi Luella and John,

What a wonderful choice!  Florence Nightengale is a favorite of ALL!

She was my mother's inspiration to become a nurse, and years later, I had a roommate in college that was a nursing major, and she too was inspired by her........so we always called her Florence.  :-)

She was truly a remarkable woman and a humanitarion beyond her years.

Thank you for sharing as always.  This is an awesome forum.

Bless you both,  Jill

Hello Jill!

What an awesome story!  I am coming to find out that Florence Nightingale has been an inspiration to many, including our kids today.

She was also an inspiration to me and for a short while I aspired to be a nurse also, except I found out that I cannot stand the sight of blood.

Hugs!

Luella
