you know you have a excellent point but, my daughter here in oklahoma has out smarted the school she tells the kids and their parents about church and all the fun activities and all she has learned and all the lord has done for our family before school starts and after school ends and @ recess. she does it one at a time quietly and most of the kids are so amazed at Esther's inner light that shines as she talks about the lord. they listen and then go to church with her. The school cannot change my daughters name so when kids ask her where her name came from she says the BIBLE. she was named after a Queen. So dont despair some kids can find a way to educate the lost. where there is a quite time and a prayer their is a way my daughter prays at school in the school bathroom when she is in the library adn even in the halls alone. so if you want to know if it can be acheive yes just takes a beleiver and a follower esther wants to be a pastor since she was 4.

Hi Kenneth, A really good prayer. Also the 'common Sense' article is really good. One of my recent pastors used to say, Common Sense is not so common. Things have gotten worse in school, because God was taken out of school. So now we do have kids with guns, and yes they do use them. Along with other things like the drugs, sex, free condoms, alcohol, gang rap disrespect of teachers, parents, law enforcement, etc. Yes the list does go on.

Hi Kenneth I think your new school prayer is very true, I am sad to say. I am white and English and was born and raised in the UK, but exactly the same is happening in our country as it is in America. I can understand in some respects how Linda feels, but not all Christians try to force their beliefs on to others, I for one do not, but if we do have freedom of speech as we are led to believe then surely we should be allowed to talk about it. By talking about it to others, it is not actually forcing them to believe it, it is entirely up to the individual as to whether they believe it or not. they do have the choice. The following is a poem which I wrote and had published some years ago. I hope that it goes someway to healing her deep wounds. There is no tomorrow, there is only now So look to the future and I'll show you how to forgive and forget the past which has gone just look to the future and you'll carry on. It's easy to say, but much harder to do. Have faith in the Lord and you will pull through. I'm Jesus your Saviour, your guiding light with my helping hand, and your strength and might. I will guide and protect you and show you the way. Along your path to the future, lighting your way. There will be mountains to climb and rivers to cross. Have faith in the Lord and you'll not get lost. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I have to say that I am in agreement with Marilyn. I think a lot of what is happening today, is the fact that God is Angry at what we are doing to our world. Robberies, Murders, Muggings Cruelty and Rape. all of these are acts which are carried out by us, Not God as some people tend to think. Some people who are undecided as to whether or not there is a God say things like. " Well if there is a God, Why does he let these terrible things happen? Why doesn't he stop them?" The answer to this is. God gave each of us the right to Free Will, we have minds of our own and are able to do what we choose. Most of us know the difference between what is right and what is wrong, however, there are clearly those who do not. This is why God is getting Angry, and I believe that all of the recent Tsunami and hurricanes etc, are signs of his anger. As outlined in Revelations. I am a practicing Christian and will definitely be passing it on. http://bluechipvisions.buildreferralsnextgen.com http://www.ViralEmailMatrix.com/?ref=160 http://www.toolbartraffic.com/hits/jaycee http://www.allsolutionsnetwork.com/JW/JW10073 Many Blessings Janet

Janet, Thank you for sharing that lovely poem with us. You have a gift and with love in your heart. When I first posted this school prayer there was more into it than some people were taking. I'm not shoving religion on anyone. Either you believe or you don't. But, also, the actions the prayer describes and it shows that we have things failing for our young. What kind of world will this be when I'm gone? What I see coming I'll be glad to be gone. Kenneth R Sword Jr
