You are doing wonders with this forum - the photos and poems are beautiful - except your creepy ones, John, which are VERY CREEPY

Better late than never (as usual) I have the translation of the beautiful poem Alba sent to us on page 12 of the forum.  I hope the translation does it justice Alba

Los Amigos somos como los arboles.

Nos fortalecemos con la savia de nuestras alegrias, y la humedad de nuestras lagrimas.

Nuestras sombras se enlazan, para mitigar el calor que sofoca, y nos sostenemos mutuamente cuando arrecia la tormenta.

Los Arboles son como los Amigos.

Por que con  aire y origenes comunes, ganan altura propia, en un amplio cielo compartido, y  disfrutan en paz y armonia, los frutos de una fecunda amistad.

Our Friends are Like Trees

We take strength from them as from the sap of our joys and the moisture of our tears

Thanks for the invite!

Some of the photo's I have looked at already have amused me greatly!

I personally use a Canon 300D D-Slr (Think it was called the digital rebel in the US). I like wildlife photography most of all so I am sure I can find some interesting shots of the Meerkats and Otters from our local zoo! They are endless entertainment.
