Hello Thomas!

I loved reading about Mary Ann.  I loved her rough edges and feisty attitude.  Yet, she was loved by the soldiers.  This is how you measure a person's worth.

Kindest regards,

Luella

Hello Victoria!

You are most welcome.  There are so many courageous women that we have never heard of.  It's loads of fun seeking them out and learning about them.

Hugs,

Luella and John

Hello Georgios,

I am so glad you enjoyed reading about Mother Bickerdyke.  I am honored that you enjoyed learning a bit of American History, just as I enjoy reading your Greek Mythology.

Kindest regards,

Luella

Hello Amanda!

Yes!  I developed an immediate fondness for Mary Bickerdyke.  She lived life on her own terms.  She was herself and didn't take any nonsense from anyone.  But the soldiers loved her.

Hugs!
