Thank you Luella and John for sharing the story of this woman of courage.

There were so many women of courage in the whole world for whom we do know nothing. Still there are some of them whom we must honour.

This was a great story and people should know about those in the past who had the courage to do things like Mary Ann has done.

Hello Sharon!

Glad you enjoyed reading about Mary Bickerdyke, a very caring lady who loved our soldiers.

Hugs,

Hello Joe,

How very nice to see you.  I am so pleased that you enjoyed reading Mary's story.  She seemed the perfect person to honor today.  Our soldiers need a mother while away or even at war.  Mary filled that role beautifully.

Kindest regards,

Luella
