Thank you, Juliana!
I appreciate your stopping by.
I wrote this poem a long time ago. I wrote it through the eyes of a lonely child in the late 1800's.
Sincerely,
Terry
Images
Behold the candlelight, Flicker of flames, Silent images play their games, Dancing shadows to amuse just me. Puppets; gleeful, graceful, quietly To and fro on the wall I like Swan Lake best of all.
Behold the candlelight, Laughter in my eyes, Delighted by their gay good-byes. Sunset colors, orange and red Flickers out, now the moon instead Thro' the curtained window pane And my friends join me again! -©Terry Gorley-
