Hi Mildred, thank you for your prayers and your support! The first half of the surgery has gone well, and without complications, praise the Lord for that. She is in ICU, and will remain there until the next half which will take place tomorrow.
My mother, just before going into surgery had a visit from the Dr who was to perform, and asked him a few questions. She wanted to know if he'd had enough sleep the night before, whether he ate breakfast before he came in, and whether he'd had his morning worship. To her response he said he'd slept well, did not eat breakfast, because he said he performs better without food in his stomach, and yes, he'd had worship. Oddly enough his last name is SAWIN.
She then responded that she'd had many prayers going up for her, and that he would need to be careful during the operation because there would be plenty of angels helping out, some of them with scoupels, and one with a knife!
