Hey Kenneth! Don't forget Frankie, my main man! Thanks for inviting me back! I come into this forum lol! It has brought back so many fabulous memories! And yes that was Jr's, "Band of Renown"! It was a short gig, but I had a blast! Yes, my dream, was to be a torchy jazzy blusey...Billie Holliday, ah, my lady! Or on my better days...Janis! I was trying to find a happy medium. Growing up up in So. Cal. I was right in the middle of it. I don't have many big names under my belt as I didn't stay with it long enough. I did a gig with a local band called "Millard Filmore's Star Spangled Banana Band"! Hey, we were competing with Sgt. Pepper! We were a riot! I love harmony work and have sung with several duos/trios. Worked with two sisters and thought we were really gonna take off...We had hired Johnny Wimber as our music arranger, he arranged all of the Righteous Brothers early music. (note the credits on their first albums...do they still call them that)? And he was hot! Our harmonies would make the Andrew Sisters drool! Then religion got into his veins and he came to practice one day and told us god told him to get out of the business! Whhhaaaatttt??? That is when I branched out on my own. Hired Sam Lane (Frankie Lane's brother) as my manager, and cut a demo (at the famous Capital Records in LA) I worked the local circut...until I met the man of my dreams and it was all over! Beatnik meets hippie chick...and that is another story! I currently have an audition with a small group here in town, the FloTones. It is a 12 member Manhatten Transfer type group. I will be competing with some huge voices and I am a bit rusty as all I do is sing in the shower these days. But who knows? It'll be fun! By the way, I do not by any means limit myself to blues...I can rock with the best of them I went into a Joan Jet mode onetime...but I just couldn't get that guitar down! lol! Okay.....you're it! He will just sit and start playing and singing and people stop dead to listen! He was in a competition just last week and afterwards...(oh, he placed first) people were coming up to him and giving him their phone numbers, one guy said he'd do his demo for free! This happens everytime he sings somewhere! Garth Brooks...Look out!

Wow - that is quite a resume! LOL I see you are doing Studio Traffic as well. That is a good company - and paying well :o) Did you reply to them to be the rep for your state?

Hi Lauri, Afraid not. Too much on my plate now. That position they are offering is well beyond fulltime. Would need a staff; sales associates, telephones, big office, B-I-G bankroll from the start, etc. Why don't you go for it. Start with one state and expand it. Good luck with all Kenneth R Sword Jr

Thanks Lisa. I'll see if I can put up a few songs from Headstone Circus. I'll have to find some of the guys and get clearance before I do so. I think I'll do the same from The Earthtones. Superstar lineup of 4 guys from 4 different genres of music showing they can create and sound like they have worked together for many years but recorded only after 4 months. Kenneth
