Hi Joe, Yes, there are options with every email program, including the delete key, but very few of them work very well. One of the biggest problems with the most popular free programs is that they OFTEN prevent mail you want to receive from ever reaching you, or prevent mail that someone is expecting from you ever getting to their inbox. Furthermore, for families with children who use the family computer, there is a big concern with a lot of the spam that ends up in THEIR inboxes. Most of the spammers in the adult, gaming, and online pharmacy industries use software that is very good at bypassing mail filters. After looking at the information that Wayne has presented, I think this is a fantastic solution for a lot of people, especially for their personal and/or family email accounts. God bless, Dave
