Dear Branka,

Thank you for that wonderful story.  It just shows once again that what may appear to be a negative outcome is in reality an opportunity.

When one door closes another opens.  EXPECT a positive outcome and you will receive a positive outcome.

Sincerely,

Terry

On the Tools To Life course I recently completed, one of our exercises required us to forgive someone, or something everyday. As I forgave people for real or imagined sins against me, I was surprised to feel a weight lift from my shoulders each time.

How come I had the weight? After all it was what they had done to me, right?

Shouldn't they bear the burden of their actions?

It took me awhile to realize that it was all about me. I was the one still holding on to the injury not them. Once I understood that, forgiveness became an urgent necessity.

I finished the course over a month ago, and I am still finding things and people  to forgive. Each time I do my load gets lighter.

This Tuesday, lighten your day. Find someone to forgive.

You don't have to do this formally, by writing a letter or phoning, you can do it from your heart.
