How awesome that Amelia was your dad's idol!  It took a great deal of courage to go after a "man's" dream in those days.  She proved that a woman is capable of dreaming and having that dream come true too.

Amelia was one of the first courageous ladies laying the groundwork for the rest of us.  She truly lived her life with passion.
