Happy Easter Everyone.  This is a special time of the year.

Here in Alabama, the Dogwoods are in bloom and the area is covered in pollen, thus there are many suffering with allergies.  But it is beautiful.

Last night we nearly got blown away with a Near Tornado.  Scary nite.

But the sun was out and it beautiful today.

We will be staying home for Easter.  Plan to serve Ham and all the trimmings.  One of my sons will be joining us, so this will be an extra special day.

Well, it looks like no one wants to share their travel plans.

What did you do for Easter?  What are your Family Traditions?

We actually stayed at home this Easter.  My son came to share the day with us. I cooked some of my family traditional foods. 

Baked ham with Pineapple, Brown Sugar and Cloves.

Mashed Potatoes

Deviled Eggs

Green Beans

Fruit Salad

Iced Tea

Rolls

Apple Pie and Ice Cream

Everything was delicious and the best part was sharing it with my son.

After dinner, we watched the movie "Pursuit of Happiness" and that was awesome.
