Invite Me as a Friend
Re: Build your friend list and optimise your web site

1: how do I invite people to be my friends or is it done already with every one contacting me?
2: think you can unscramble my poor brain until I joined Adlander all I got was people wanting to sell me stuff - whether it was work at home or jobs at home
3: how do I get the time to go through all the messages so I can know which to respond to?
Thanx again Judy

Judy

Great questions..... the Adland experience takes a bit to understand at first. I'll attempt to clarify your questions one at a time.

1- The way you invite others to be your friend is

        a) click on their name and open their profile

        b) click on message "invite me to be friends"

            c) add your invitation message

            d) send

That's it - you will recieve a message stating your invitaion is sent!

At first you will get a lot of invitations from those who are working hard to get their friends list up in umbers.. later you will find that you will have to be the one doing the inviting. Everyone experiences this. Read through ALL the comments on this forum as your question is totally answered here already!

2- You should know "Everyones brain is scrambled .... LOL - (Mine is burned as well) ...... When I first became an Adlander I too had quite a few friend requests and I accepted them. I learned quickly, as have you, everyone here is marketing something and everyone has the same results as you. "Lots of invitations to join all kinds of programs". You simply have to accept that as part of the total picture.... no big deal !!!

What happens is people find  one program (business) that is more suited to their nature... and that becomes their primary business focus. Many grab one or two more that are compliamentary to their primary ... and that is GREAT. Some are over excited and not good business minded and sign up in tons of them but don't market any of them with professionalism.

My recommendation to you is stay focused on what YOU are trying to make happen for YOU!

3- You will learn quickly which emails you read from top to bottom, which you scan quickly and which you delete right away. At first it will appear to be a waste of time... but nothing can be further from the truth. Everyones situation is in a state of change at ALL times. Everyone here could at some point become a GREAT prospect for you and your offering.

Hang in there Judy - stay focused on YOUR goals, and TRUE to YOURSELF.

Join a few forums - some to learn from - some to laugh with and others to be inspired by. Adland has it all. It is a GREAT place to develop a circle of friends, business associates and as well "mentors."

Feel free to personal message (PM) me any time with other questions.... I'll do my best to help you wade through the fog to reach the goals you have set out to achieve.

I hope these answer your questions and resolve you confusions - at least a little!

Hey Neil,

Great advice, thank you.

Here are some more suggestions that may help build a biz.

Friendship Marketing ... I firmly believe and market by this method.  Just think about it:  You have to sell yourself first and get to know your contacts.  Once you have established a relationship with them, they will be receptive your products.  They will in fact trust you enough to believe in and follow you. The reason why most marketers get poor results is that they put all their energies into pushing their product first; well guess what, so are a zillion other people.  My best advice is to go the friendship marketing way.

Tools and Resources ... I don't have to tell you that you need a good autoresponder system - one where you are not limited to the number of leads you can input.  Secondly, have a well written set of letters to send to your prospects, with catchy subjects.  Last but not least, track your ads to see what works and what doesn't.

I also belong to a professional group called Cash MasterMind that has elite pro marketing members who are earning big dollars and are always available to share their techniques and provide guidance.  I believe that success breeds success ... rub shoulders with the successful ones and it will brush off onto you.  I am learning a lot which I have been putting into practice and it's certainly working for me.  It's not free, no such thing - pay peanuts and you get monkeys, as you know.

Anyway, I hope my advice has been helpful and I wish you every success with your ventures.

Stay in touch.

Warm regards,

Irene
