Nick,

Thatwas beautiful.

You managed to fill a hole in my imagination.

A few years ago, on my first ever flight (UK to North West USA) I remember having missed Greenland in the cloud, the pilot said 'and below is the coast of British Columbia' I looked in time to see a flash of green and grey and then cloud.

I saw no more until I saw the peak of Mount St Helens as we neared Seattle. Until now I've had to guess but now I have some images.

Thanks again.

Roger

Hi Nick

I'm on the opposite side of the country and spring is a little slow coming here.

It's nice to hear that it will reach us soon LOL .Your story did make me take a indepth look your me. It refreshing to see that with the fast paste world , there are still some people who take the time to really see whats around them.

Thanks for the eye opener.

Edward

What a lovely read, Nick.

I'm just a bit south of you on the Washington coast and it truly was/is a glorious day. I've been waiting for it to get warm enough to dig up a spot in my garden to plant peas and today was it. My heart quickened a bit as I got together my tools and I threw open the sliding doors just to smell the breeze. Life is so good on a day such as this. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hey - that was an interesting walk.

We live in the north Okanagan among small mountains - not the rockies.  The Rockies are a little over half an hour east of us.

Our snow is leaving us where we live by the lake, but the snow line is visible above us.

While a friend cultivated his garden the other day, we are still not sure what each day will bring.  It snowed 4 inches last night.  It has all melted now.  The birds will b e happy!

One thing sure - the spring WILL come and the daisies WILL bloom.  God has everything in control.

Bye for now.

Mildred
