We are talking of Leonardo's Mona Lisa or "Gioconda", reportedly the half-length portrait of Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo, and believed to have been painted between 1503 and 1506.

No serious presentation of Leonardo's works can leave out his Virgin and Child with Saint Anne. Painted around 1510, this outstandingly beautiful masterpiece certainly incorporates in itself all of its creator's wonderful art.

Dear friends, I may be wrong but this incredibly beautiful drawing of Leonardo very likely was a preparatory sketch for the Virgin and Child with Saint Anne presented a few posts above. At any rate, I feel it so
very special.
